We thought it would be easier to share our pictures from the
race this way then having to always load them up in mail =)These were taked at MIS in lower Michigan on the weekend of Aug
20-22.
We drove down from the upper part of Michigan to be ushers at the race. This was
my <shell> first race and Jaime had been to a race before.This sight isn't about fan favorite we tried to get few different
driver cars. We took more pictures that Friday for qualify and of the rigs set up selling goodies but due to difficulty the
film did not turn out. =(
It was an awesome trip to be so up close at the race. On Sunday we were working
on the track with people who had pit passes. We took their pictures on the track.
I can say one thing about being there and being an usher all the fans were really
awesome,, there was no fights or anything and when we had to tell people to please move on to their seats they were nice about
it,,, at least in our section by Grand Stands section 41.
The best thing was seeing the little kids who were at their first race and just
in awe of the whole thing and when the cars went by so loud the ground was shaking,,, those kids were little champs about
not crying or being scared.
The Justice League had Flash, Green Latern and Wonder Woman there and it was really
cool to see the fans swarm around them. Over all it was a wonderful weekend even though qualify was rained out on Friday.
Some pictures are hard to see because even as the ushers we couldn't get right up
to the fence to take them through the fence.
